Off the back of a couple of difficult years due to the Covid pandemic, Jason Pritchard is ready to launch an all-out assault on the 2022 British Rally Championship, with the support of local businesses including Chartists 1770 at the Trewythen and Trailhead Fine Foods
The Championship is made up of seven events covering the UK mainland, starting in Clacton on 23rd April and culminating in the Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally on the 29th October.
Chartists 1770, is a stunning restaurant serving Modern Welsh cuisine in the beautiful market town of Llanidloes, housed within the Trewythen Hotel, a Grade ll listed Georgian Restaurant with seven ensuite bedrooms is popular stop for fans and drivers close to the popular Sweet Lamb Rally Complex.
Jason has a dazzling array of accolades from previous rallies across all age groups and disciplines, including three GB historic rally championships and three GB asphalt rally championships.
For 2022 Jason is delighted to reveal his car for the season a VW Polo Rally2. This will be prepared by the 2021 British rally teams champions Melvyn Evans Motorsport. It’ll be run on events by Jason’s family run team from North Road Garage Builth Wells.
Jason is delighted by the support he has received this year and says ‘I am so thankful to the businesses who have come on board to enable me to compete in a full 2022 British Rally Championship calendar. Without their support this simply would not be possible’
Trailhead Fine Foods, who produce their award-winning Beef Jerky, Get Jerky, using PGI approved Welsh beef and a mix of flavoured marinades to produce a healthy snack are equally excited to be on board.
Jason is also supported in 2022 by:
North Road Garage Builth Wells, family run Toyota dealership in mid Wales.
J & S handling Forklift sales, service, hire and repairs.
Pirelli tyres and Speedline wheels.
‘I’m obviously excited for the whole calendar, but given I’m a proud Welshman, it will be fantastic to complete the season at the Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally, through the forests of North Wales on to the seafront at Llandudno, such an iconic piece of British Rally history.’
